What battery do I need for the 30 and 40W wading light?
Either SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) 8-9 AH or a LIOP (Lithium Ion Polymon) 8-10 AH. You will get 8 hours or more of run time.
Do I need the 2000K or 3000K color lights for the water conditions in my area?
When your area has predominantly clear water the 3000K (Halogen Color) works great! When the water is predominantly murky or dirty, I prefer the 2000K. You can purchase the 2000K/3000K Jerry’s LED head and have the best of both worlds.
Can you see if there is a distributor in my area?

Which lights do I need for my flounder gigging boat?
Lights and equipment depend on the size and configuration of your boat. I am more than happy to help on a case by case basis if you reach out and send me pictures or dimensions of your boat.
How many lights are recommended for a flounder gigging boat?
It depends if your going with the above or below water options. Typically 6-8 is sufficient for above water and 4-6 below water.
Do I need above water, underwater or combination light?
Above water are good and have a much longer life span because they don’t get hit/damaged by underwater debris. The major drawback for above water is the glare, which is not an issue with below water lights. A combination set up for your boat is the best of both worlds.
How do you mount the flounder lights on a boat?
Above water is mounted on a pipe rack. Under water can be mounted with my JLED Boat Light Mount.
Can I repair a damaged flounder light?
If the corrosion is minimal, you can usually repair a damaged 30 or 40w light. If the light has damage or is corroded (underwater more common) then it is not repairable.
Can I send a damaged flounder light to be repaired/replaced?
I will work with you anytime a light is repairable. If they have an epoxy seal, it is not repairable.
Do you have an adapter for using dewalt 20 v tool batteries back to 12 vdc?
I do not stock these adapters, but I can help you find the right one if you reach out to me.
How much wire comes with my flounder light order? Can I request more wire?
18-20” of wire come with your Jerry’s LED light order. You can pay $11 for an extra 10’ of wire or reach out to me and I can get you a quote for the amount of wire you will require for your set up.
Which lights can be used above water?
The 30 and 40 w and 40w 2000K/ 40 w 3000K. 50w -336 w will overheat if used above water.
Which lights are used below water?
30w-336w can be used under water.
Which lights are best for bullynet lobster fishing?
The 50-336V in 2000K. The 2000K make the lobsters eyes glow.

Is the V bracket on the 336V available for smaller light wattages?
Yes it is. Contact me for custom orders and projects.
